Weapon and Ammunition supplies come from the GDI Barracks or the Hand of Nod to refill your supplies select Refill as shown (above). The Ion Cannon Beacon is an extra weapon which any GDI soldier can carry this beacon takes a while to deploy but once it is deployed the Ion Cannon will strike down on that position in a number of seconds giving you a while to get back from the blast. However enemy engineers can disarm the Ion Cannon Beacon so its best to keep an eye on your beacon while the Ion Cannon charges up and locks onto position.

Here are the different GDI character classes available in C&C Renegade.

Picture Description
Soldier
Weapons: Automatic Rifle, Automatic Pistol and Timed C4

GDI's standard infantry, armed primarly with an Automatic Rifle might not look like much but in groups these guys can really tear the house down so watch out.
Shotgun Trooper
Weapons: Shotgun, Automatic Pistol and Timed C4

This type of infantry specialises in close-quarter battles keeping it up close and personnel. The shotgun may not have much range but it will take down enemy infantry with ease, don't let this guy sneek up on you or else.
Grenadier
Weapons: Grenade Launcher, Automatic Pistol and Timed C4

Who said explosives weren't any fun? This guy takes the grenadier from Tiberian Dawn to a whole new level. Rather then throwing standard grenades by hand he is armed with a Grenade Launcher which can fire much longer distances. This type of infantry is particulary effective on light vehicles and groups of enemy troops however his weakness is a limited range of attack.
Engineer
Weapons: Repair Gun, Automatic Pistol, Timed C4 and Remote C4

Now this guy is quite the 'handy man' equipped with a Repair Gun he can easily repair friendly units of all types (infantry, vehicles, aircraft and structures). The fastest way to repair a structure is to get Engineers and Hotwires to the Master Control Terminal and use there repair gun there were it has the most effect.
Officer
Weapons: Chain Gun, Automatic Pistol and Timed C4

These soldiers have been through more than the standard training and therefore have been equiped with better weapons and enhanced awareness. If your the enemy and on foot watch out! Because this guy will be knocking on your doorstep any minute now. His Chain Gun is espically effective against infantry and light vehicles, his only real problem is dealing with heavy vehicles.
Rocket Soldier Officer
Weapons: Rocket Launcher, Automatic Pistol and Timed C4

Now if you think you want to mess with these guys think again, if in groups these guys can use there Rocket Launchers to quickly tear down an enemy base and enemy vehicles very quickly and if your on foot you better be dodging. His real weakness is close range combat since the only real damage he can do then is too himself.
Sydney
Weapons: Tiberium Auto Rifle, Automatic Pistol and Timed C4

Sydney is an expert in the field of Tiberium like her father but unlike her father she is an expert in Tiberium weapons therefore she has been equipped with a Tiberium Auto Rifle. Now this baby can pack quite the punch to vehicles and espically infantry, the destructive abilitys of Tiberium is as always extremely deadly.
Deadeye
Weapons: Sniper Rifle, Automatic Pistol and Timed C4

The long range expert Deadeye, his skills are so deadly he can take out targets longer then 250m away his aiming is perfect and with an eye like that you better hope your protected in a vehicle. However his weakness is that he can be taken out by other snipers or enemy units sneaking up behind him while he is taking aim.
Gunner
Weapons: Rocket Launcher, Automatic Pistol and Timed C4

Think of Gunner as your Elite Rocket Launcher unit he twice as deadly then the Rocket Soldier Officer and if you want proof then make sure to challenge Gunner when you see him on the battlefield. Don't worry he'll even take out the real tough guys around the area.
Patch
Weapons: Tiberium Flechette Gun, Automatic Pistol and Timed C4

Patch is one of the most deadly units on the battlefield, well to enemy infantry anyway. The Tiberium Flechette Gun fires Tiberium darts at very high speeds since Tiberium has a very negative effect on humans it will crush enemys quickly.
Havoc

Weapons: Ramjet Rifle, Automatic Pistol and Timed C4

"That was left handed!" Havoc is so well suited for the job he can use his Ramjet Rifle left handed, this particular weapon has enhanced aiming capabilites compared to the standard issue Sniper Rifle and he can easily deal with any enemy troops on the battlefield at long ranges with ease.
Sydney Specialist
Weapons: Personnel Ion Cannon, Automatic Pistol and Timed C4

Sydney Specialists give a whole new meaning to "bringing the house down" with there Personnel Ion Cannons. This deadly weapon is best suited for destroying heavy vehicles and structures however she cannot destroy a structure alone if the enemy is repairing their structures. Her biggest weakness is the reload time of the Personnel Ion Cannon, this is the key to destroying her.
Mobius
Weapons: Volt Auto Rifle, Automatic Pistol and Timed C4

Now if you think Mobius is a sissy think again! Equipped with a Volt Gun he fires out high voltage electrical bolts which can destroy enemy structures, heavy and light vehicles with ease even infantry don't stand a chance. The only real way to kill him is to ether snip him, wait till he runs out of ammo or to overwhelm him with numbers.
Hotwire
Weapons: Repair Gun, Automatic Pistol, Timed C4, Remote C4 and Proximity Mines

Hotwire is essentially your advanced Engineer her Repair Gun has twice the range and repairing speed of the standard one given to Engineers. These are very useful on the battlefield for repairing your damaged heavy vehicles quickly. Planting Proximity Mines around your base is also good move since only the enemy can set them off. One really good strategy is to put about 5 proximity mines on the Master Control Terminal of a vital structure, that takes care of any intruders with the intent of destroying the structure.
