Yuri's Units

Image
Description

Ingame Shot
The brute is a genetically created monster, spiced up by Yuri's scientists in the labs. He uses his fist to bash infantry and pummel tanks. He attacks structures with his fists as well. No allied K9's are able to attack him either if anyone is going to bite anything it will be this guy!.

Ingame Shot
The slave minner is the only way to collect ore with the Yuri side. This unit will go out in search for an ore field deploy itself and send out little troops to do the shovel work. All the processing is done on aboard so it doesn't have to go back to base.

Ingame Shot
A Female solider from the Yuri side which her weapon is a posin dart sniper pistol. If these bullets stick into you they will release their poison and then you will explode. Now i wonder why they call her Virus.

Ingame Shot
This is the only naval unit Yuri has, so of coarse it has to be good. It features sea to sea and sea to land combat, with missiles to attack other sea units and also ICBM's to attack any unit on land.

Ingame Shot
Yuri's basic combat soldier has all the firepower he needs in his highly developed brain, which allows him to fire a powerful Psychic Blast that can give enemy infantry, vehicles and even structures a serious burn. While his range is shorter than that of Allied or Soviet infantry, his damage rating is slightly higher, making him an excellent defense unit when garrisoned. He's three times as expensive as the Soviet Conscript, and can't deploy into a fortified position like the Allied GI, but when used craftily, the Initiate can make the enemy beg for Tylenol.

Ingame Shot
The Magnetron is Yuri’s answer to long range defensive structures. It can use its magnetic beam to wreck enemy base defenses from well outside their range. When facing enemy vehicles, the Magnetron can levitate and pull them towards itself. An exceptional ability which allows Yuri’s other units and defenses to steal the minds of the enemy without putting themselves at risk. The unit while being levitated cannot attack and the Magnetron needs to be well guarded because it has no weapons. Against structures its like a TS Disruptor tank only with mega range and lowered damage.

Ingame Shot
Yuri's customized Lasher is a sleek, streamlined tank. Although moderately armored, its speed makes it ideal for devastating, hit-and-run attacks, and is also excellent as a "first-response team" for dealing with enemy vehicles knocking on your door. However, the Lasher performs poorly against infantry; its shell doesn't damage them much, so keep them clear of enemy GIs and Conscripts.

Ingame Shot
To this day, not even top Soviet and Allied intelligence agents have determined the origin of Yuri's Floating Disc. Looking like it zoomed straight out of some '50s sci-fi flick, the Floating Disc is a sort of outerspace sapper unit whose transport beam can be used to drain energy from enemy power plants or credits from a refinery. An intelligently deployed Floating Disc can short out an enemy's power as a first-strike measure and its small radioactive laser beam can vaporize infantry and damage vehicles if they happen to get nosy.

Ingame Shot
Yuri himself! He can take mind control of one unit just like the clone and he can fry enemy soldiers minds when deployed. He hovers around on this wierd hover chariot but don't under-estimate Yuri he can also take mind control of structures unlike the clone so he is VERY powerful. Only 1 can be built at a time but if you have a cloning vat you can have 2 at the same time. The advantage over the clone is he is alot faster when moving and he can hover over water.

Ingame Shot
The Clone of Yuri you can build as many of these as you wish. The Clones attacks are the same as the Soviet Yuri unit in normal RA2. He can take mind control of one unit at a time and he can release a shockwave that will fry enemy infantry's minds.

Ingame Shot
The Chaos Drone does exactly what you'd think it would do cause Chaos. It only works against enemy infantry but the chaos drone releases a gas that turns enemy units into a frienzied state and they start attacking each other. Very useful if the enemy has a large infantry force heading your way.

Ingame Shot
Engineer! Thats right Yuri gets Engineers too they do exactly what all the other's sides engineers do. Capture enemy structures, repair damaged structures etc.

Ingame Shot
The Gattling Tank is not to be reckoned with I mean sure its armour ain't so great. But a group of these can take out almost anything in seconds. Aircraft are espically vunerable and the most devastating thing about the Gattling Tank is the longer it is firing the faster and faster its firing rate gets. It eventually reachs a firing rate that is so fast it can bring down any units in mere seconds.

Ingame Shot
Yup a Hover Transport even Yuri requires such a simple unit because how else is he going to get his units from one island to the next? Yuri's transport is no differant from the Soviets or Allies except it looks cooler.

Ingame Shot
The MasterMind sure goes by its name it can take mind control of a maxium of 3 units well safely anyway. If you go above 3 you can go way up to 10 units and above but the MasterMinds systems will start to overload and the more extra units under its control the faster it gets damaged. Make sure to have captured plenty of Repair IFV's before going over the safe limit.

Ingame Shot
Yuri may be evil but he defiantly knows what looks cool and what doesn't and I can tell you that this is the coolest MCV in C&C history. It functions like all other MCV's and deploys into a Construction Yard.
Becomes avaliable when the Psychic Radar is built, it doesn't take long to charge so it is very useful. Seeming there is no Fog of War in RA2 this device can be used to great effect.
Ingame Shot
Its time for a little Genetic Alteration! This requires the Genetic Mutator to begin charging but once charged. Just point this to enemy infantry and watch the transformation! All infantry caught in the blast will be turned into Brutes watch out Allies and Soviets this is a very deadly weapon. It has a very large area of effect so this weapon can be used to turn the tides of battle, or to surprise a few commanders out there.
Ingame Shot
The Force Shield makes all structures under the shield invunerble to enemy attacks but not without a cost. The Force Shield uses an extream amount of energy so during the shields time online all power will go offline. It can only be used on structures but this shield is more of a last resort then anything. It sure has saved my hide a few times which I am grateful. The Force Shield begins to charge when a Battle Lab is built and all sides have access to this superweapon.
Ingame Shot
The Dominator's attack! When deployed on a region specified by the player the dominator will take mind control of all units that the dominator effects. Very useful if the enemy has a large group of powerful units parked in his base I'm sure he'd be surprised! But the Psychic Dominator has a very small range of effect so they units have to be packed well together. The Dominator can also take out structures that are unlucky enough to be caught in the discharge of this great weapon.

New Allied Units

Description

Ingame Shot
A specially trained anti-tank infantry unit, the uncrushable Guardian GI sports an assault rifle for normal encounters, but deploys to fire a tough anti-tank missile that is also useful against air units. Since he's a potent defense against tanks, it's a good idea to have these sprinkled throughout your base in deploy mode; your enemy will think twice next time about that tank rush.
Ingame Shot
This giant assault vehicle is the Allies response to the Soviet's Apocalypse Tank. Mounting only a machine gun, the Battle Fortress might seem an easy target for enemy tanks, but its power becomes clear when it crushes enemy vehicles under its mighty tracks. The Battle Fortress also serves as a transport. Up to five infantry units can climb aboard and provide extra firepower as they travel by independently firing their weapons out of the Battle Fortress's many ports. Any unit can be garrisoned inside this giant so units like Navy Seals are great in this but think of the possiblitys with other units.
Ingame Shot
This speedy raider is the result of Allied research into anti-tank technology. The Robot Tank's maneuverability and speed make it an excellent hit-and-run unit; the fact that it's immune to psychic powers makes it especially useful against Yuri's forces. This hovering tank can move over water, and its cannon makes quick work of straggling enemy units. Disadvantages are that the Robot Tank cannot gain veterancy and doesn't fare well in prolonged conflicts, but always keep a few on hand for mini-assaults. Make sure to protect the Robot Control structure because if that ever goes offline the Robot Tanks will go offline until a new Robot Control structure is built.
New Soviet Units

Description
Ingame Shot
A national hero in Mother Russia, Boris is renowned for his bravery and cool head on the battlefield; little wonder that the tales of his sneaking into enemy bases to call in air strikes are legendary. While he has an AKM to cope with ground units, Boris' real strength is against enemy structures. After targeting a building with his laser designator, Boris gets on the radio and calls in an air strike by Migs who drop a payload of iron bombs on the target. Used stealthily, Boris is good for taking out crucial enemy infrastructures like Ore Refineries and War Factories to stunt the enemy's tech tree. Make sure to protect him while his Migs are enroute because they take time to come.
Ingame Shot
This helicopter blends air capability with the Soviet love for heavy-duty firepower. In the air, the Siege Chopper uses its machine gun to harass enemy units. The real fun however, begins when it lands. It's then that the Siege Chopper literally breaks out the big guns, deploying a 155 mm cannon that is excellent for pounding away at heavily fortified enem installations. This deadly machine is a must-have for any assault force as long as it is well escorted.
Ingame Shot
Since Yuri defected with the Psychic Sensor technology, the Soviets were left without an effective map intelligence-gathering unit. The spy plane, developed secretly during the US invasion, will fly toward its target and take a series of photographs that reveal the shroud around the designated area. This new line of spy plane will prove extremely effective for scouting and revealing your enemies battle plans.
