--- Why We Fight ---

--- …And How We Fight ---

“Brothers! Dawn is fast approaching, so there is little time for exhortation, but before we begin our prayer, I would speak a few words to carry with you this day.

“I want each and every one of you to look at yourselves. Look at your uniforms: the sleeves on your arms, the weapons in your hands, and the boots on your feet. Feel this morning’s meal in your stomach. Feel your clearness of mind, and look to your fellows, standing alongside you in the same fashion.

“Now, remember. Remember when Kane first gave you alms. Remember when the Brotherhood took you in, fed you, and clothed you. Remember when you first took your vows, and the future bestowed upon you then. Remember how far you have come—how far we all have come—in fulfilling Kane’s perfect vision of peace.

“And in your remembrance, think of those who still suffer as you once did. Think of the men, women, and children around the world who barely cling to life, who freeze and starve and die forgotten by their leaders—their self-proclaimed protectors. Think of them, hear their cries for salvation on the wind, and take heart in the knowledge that justice shall be done.

“Now, Brothers, let us unite our souls with One Vision for One Purpose. Let us pray to Almighty God. Let us pray in the name of Kane and his boundless wisdom, in the name of our Brothers who prepare for battle across the globe, and in the name of the countless innocents we shall free today!”

-Commander Ishaq al-Rashid, addressing his troops shortly before the opening of TWI

Brothers and Sisters, I open this congregation with the Commander’s words so that we might strike a balance. For just this moment, I wish you all to remember why we fight in the name of Kane, for the words that follow shall be focused how we fight. Yes, it is time for our arsenal to be unveiled. We have worked hard these past months—laboring in the shadows—silent and devoted as all warriors of Nod should be. We have kept our faith, as I hope all of you have, and now our trials shall be rewarded.

Without further delay, I welcome you, Brothers and Sisters, to the next chapter in the Brotherhood’s endless saga.

Our first item concerns the exploits of one of our Brothers, Evo, who once worked directly with us in pursuit of Kane’s goals. He has left our team, but not the Brotherhood, and now holds his own congregation, The Reticule. Recently, he saw fit to interview us about our continuing work in the name of Kane. If you seek knowledge into our souls and our aims, look no further than here.
[Edit: He also got his hands on an exclusive release of GDI Naval arsenal:]

The time has come yet again, Brothers and Sisters. As the New Year has dawned, so have the Mod of the Year Awards. Show your support for our most noble endeavor by placing your vote for us at our page on ModDB.

--- UPDATES ---

Now, Brothers and Sisters, we shall bear witness to the fruits of our long labors. Our engineers, our workers, our intelligence operatives—all have given their blood and sweat to bring this new information to you. These are the weapons of our arsenal, and the weapons of our enemies. These are the tools which will shape the future. Our future. Kane expects every one of you to pay close attention, and one does not disappoint the Messiah.

To start, we would do well to review our most recent intelligence on both ours and our enemy’s arsenals. Study these reports well, for they contain important information on our sacred Temple, our Flame and Light Tanks, and GDI's Advanced Guard Tower.

Now, to begin our latest briefing, we have our reconnaissance and fast-attack vehicle. This high-speed, low-drag dune buggy is deceptively simple in construction, and serves as a harrowing demon for any GDI troops cowardly enough to flee our righteous vengeance.

Next is our ultimate ground-based weapons platform. A vehicle undetectable in the infrared and visible spectrums—a silent and elusive killer which even now is spreading terror into the hearts of our enemies. Look well, and imagine the looks on their faces when Ezekiel’s Wheel makes its first strike.

Now we begin the overview of our structures. This one is perhaps one of our most vital. This building houses the networks and equipment which allows us to match the likes of GDI in open combat. It is our eyes and ears on the battlefield, and it is utterly vital to maintaining situational awareness for our brave commanders. The fact that GDI, blind as they are, also uses such a structure should be very telling.

I am pleased to announce that our monumental laser weapon is at last operational. A stalwart guardian for our hallowed grounds, no infidel shall set foot within our bases while this structure casts its shadow over the battlefield. Look upon the Obelisk of Light and rejoice, Brothers and Sisters, for there is no weapon greater than this to be found anywhere on Earth!

With our overview of our own arsenal completed, we turn to the intelligence on GDI's structures. To begin, we have the bane of our infantry, GDI's deadly Guard Tower. Make no mistake: this simple structure can cut through our ranks with ease. Kane will be most displeased at the sacrifice of any more troops than is necessary.

Now, look well, Brothers and Sisters, for here is the home of your enemy. This is where their soldiers rise, in ever greater numbers, to attack us. It may appear a simple structure, but as with all things GDI, appearances are deceiving. This is a vital cog in GDI’s war machine, as it is here that the supplies and ammunition for their infantry are stored. Its destruction would be beneficial, to say the least.

However, the destruction of a mere barracks pales in comparison to the damage that eliminating this structure will do. This is the control center for one of GDI’s most abhorrent weapons: the Ion Cannon. It is imperative that you learn the image of this structure, Brothers and Sisters, for if one should appear on any of your battlefields, you should consider its destruction top priority.

--- SPECIAL VIDEO UPDATE ---

Now, Brothers and Sisters, it is time for you to see the future. Below, you will find actual battlefield footage of our glorious forces in combat against our hated foes. Rejoice in our advancements, and give a cry for victory as we finally bring the fight to GDI!

--- END NOTES ---

With that, Brothers and Sisters, I call this congregation to a close. Take with you the memory of this most glorious day, and give thanks to Kane and his loyal servants for their dutiful work in fulfilling our future. And as you depart, rest easy in the knowledge that this is but the beginning, that ever greater accomplishments await us, and that with One Vision and One Purpose, we will continue our march to our magnificent end.

No, I don't believe we have gotten any awards, but Top 100 for 3 years in a row isn't bad either :)
