lookin' good!

But on the topic of Christian references, there is only one or two. There are however, several JUDAIC references. The Old Testament of the Bible is NOT Christian in origin, I.E. it was written before the coming of the Son of Man. The Old Testament is also part (or totally) the Judaic Holy Scripture called the Torah. I'm not starting a religious debate, I'm simply straightening out some facts.

A majority of the references in Command and Conquer are mostly from Genesis. The other references such as Ezekiel's Wheel is from the Book of Ezekiel. The name "Lazarus" is from the New Testament, whom Jesus raised from the dead.

It's not an uncommon phenomenon for game designers to put religious references in their games. Look at HALO: Combat Evolved if you want another good example.

What I meant was anything new testament which would indicate that Nod are Christian, which frankly is a bit of a boring surprise.

Kane's reference to Lazerus in C&C3 is an example.

Just because he used a quote from the NT doesn't mean he, or the rest are Christian. Quite the contrary, Kane is older than the time Christ was born. He will probably tell you that Jesus Christ never even walked the Earth, he's just a literary creation by a few religion creators sucking him out of their thumbs like many other gods. And if there was a historical Joshua to go with the myth, he'd be nothing but a some guy walking around. Hell, who knows, Joshua's mentor who taught him his morality and being good to people, might have been Kane!

Anyway, Nod are Kanists. Kane is the Messiah, the Prophet, the great one that can't be killed. And when they thought he was dead they went, "Kane lives in death!"

So no, Nod is most certainly not Christian. They're made up of people from all walks of life and all religions, having rejected them, for truth that is Kane's word.

I already disproved Waraddict's statement on Nod vs New Testament by pointing out that the C&C1 manual calls the Stealth Tank's cloaking system a "Lazarus Shield" ;)
