There's a new rules-mod in town for Red Alert 3, something all C&C's have in common all the way back to Tiberian Sun. Just Rules aims at increasing the strategic options in RA3. It includes things like a more balanced upgrade system, revised protocols and build limits on each unit design to discourage spamming and encourage diverse unit formations and strategies. It will also eventually aim to improve the visual appearance of the game and maybe even add in sub-faction classes, all with various betas released at different intervals...

...like right now for example! Just Rules has released an early "AI-Friendly" mini-mod. It's called "AI-Friendly" because modding the AI in Tiberium Wars and Red Alert 3 is notoriously difficult due to the fickle nature of the games responses to changes. The main new feature included in AI Friendly is the Build Limits system, which places a limit on how many of each unit can be built (similar to how superweapons or heros have a limit of 1, except the numbers are higher). This mini-mod can be considered a testing platform for some of the features that will eventually make their way into the full mod. It also has a few features that are different from what will be in the full mod. Check out the feature list here. Click on the image below to see the current build limits (subject to change).
