Seems it's true what they say... nowadays folks can't tell what's a joke without it being made obvious by twenty smilies. Mammut, you shouldn't be as easily offended, you know no one here in these forums means it in a bad way.

When the Podcast is done I'll update my FAQ, so I may ask some staffie to update my first post depending on if I can still change it myself or not :).

You said in the last podcast that classic mode will be exactly like the original. So, does that mean the apc will unload all units in the reverse order they came aboard?

Although we could, that seems like a rather excessive detail to implement. The present TW code allows you to specify which unit should exit, or have them all dismount simultaneously, which in all fairness allows a bit more realism without any loss to unit functionality.

Just out of interest's sake, how far can you go in terms of re-creating the C&C storyline and FMV's exactly as they are in the original? Would there be some kind of copyright issue involved?

Same goes for the music. It's great that you're adding new content, but say you wanted to re-use the original sountrack as is? Would it be allowed by the powers-that-be?

I'm really exited about the prospect of a mod that will look and feel as close as possible to the original Tiberian Dawn, just with the updated graphics. So I'm all for the approach of having two game modes. I fear you're creating a lot of work for yourselves though. :D

Can't wait for that podcast...

Seeing how TD is freeware by now I don't see a problem with using it's assets. Not to mention EA normally supports C&C modding, knowing how the C&C community has a large mod-base. If you are permitted to use TW assets for modding, why should you not be permitted to use TD assets?

Aye, it has been approved by EA. We also have a few ideas how to go beyond just the originals, however.

Thats all I can say for now, don't want to spoil ;)

Are you releasing multi and single player at once, or first the multi?
I ask because I'd like a lot to play this mod in multiplayer, and it can be released soon, but the singleplayer takes a lot more time and is very difficult to do.

First release will most likely only cover multiplayer and classic mode. I think I also mentioned this in the FAQ...
