The transport helicopter is not the mighty airborne deliverer of furious destruction that the Orca or the Apache Gunship is, it is still damn useful and good looking to boot. The Chinook is available both to the Brotherhood and GDI, both of whom can use it to devastating effect on the battlefield. No one who has seen the sort of destruction one of these can unload in the form of engineers or commando's will ever snicker about it just being a support unit.

The Chinook comes in two paintjobs depending on the side, the desert yellow common for GDI and the metallic grey of the Brotherhood of Nod. My suggestion of adding some flame stickers on the nose to make it go faster (It does so work!) wasn't met with much fanfare sadly enough. I thought everyone knew that flame stickers ALWAYS make things go faster - no matter what.

However, I do suppose I'll be quite happy with this monster buzzing around on a map. Personally I want a fleet of these b*stards loaded to the brim and heading off to do battle, with 'Ride of the Valkyries' playing loudly. It's very fittingly epic. And it does so not hit the cliché mark too badly, that only works if these were UH-1 Huey's and not CH-47 Chinook's. See? Totally different when you switch the helicopters.

Here we see the Chinook in its more natural colour scheme (Remember, the Chinook as Nod exclusive in singleplayer but in multiplayer is available to both sides) sheet metal grey, classic and stylish! Because you know, deep down every Nod loyalist is just there because the uniforms and paint schemes are just so damn contemporary.
Just as a random anecdote here; Kane once made Steve Jobs cry hot tears of shame when he realized that his cult of personality was nothing - absolutely nothing - compared to that of Kane. And that's why Brotherhood of Nod > GDI. Always.

And finally a glamour shot of the GDI cameo. Now in my opinion - and I've got a tiny bit of a bias here, but I think I'm not too off the mark - this is just stunning work, from the great job done in modelling the Chinook by DamageINC to the two textures by Lazy6Pyro. So once again, kudos to the lads on a job bloody well done. Expect to be seeing this beast in-game in no time at all.
If it isn't already... you know I think as a blog writer (Stop laughing you b*stards, a month late is fashionably late!), I should perhaps check the forums a bit more often.
So in sloppy, four in the morning conclusion; hugs and kisses to DamageINC and Lazy6Pyro, sadly we do not have any females suitable for that particular job, so I guess once again the task falls on me. Pucker up, chaps. Right. I should stop now.
