I have seen the video now, and it looks pretty awesome, however the first thing I thought when I saw the prism towers shoot their first shot was: those shots are too wide, I doesn't seem completely right, make them a bit smaller in the width, and I think it will look way better

The prism tower scripts are still buggy. There are times that the first shot will go miles above your head, and if the one closest to the front line is gone the other two will constantly charge each other.
Yes, when the prism tower is charged it goes to a secondary fire which is twice as powerful. We can't make it a x b x c because we can only have two presets per tower.
Still yet more great work from the danster, he's become a real asset to us

I noticed in RA2 two prism towers shoot at the same target instead of charging up one powerful beam that did more damage than two single ones, will this happen in AR too, or are the prism towers here smarter?

OK first, the towers in that video (beam and all) are just to show off the prism script NOT the ingame version...
and yes, when it is charged, it will have much more powerful blast

it was not what I exactly meant, what I meant was, that in RA2 when two Prism towers standing beside would BOTH fire at an incoming unit INSTEAD of one powering the other up and then have one concentrated beam on that one target, is it also that way in AR or is they smarter so that only one tower fire with a charged beam on the unit incoming instead of two towers firing one THE SAME incoming unit?

thats actauly a glitch...
one fires and dosn't reload in time, so they just fire at seporate targets, just a mear glitch

Nothing like reading a nice blog from the AR team
Oh, and I love the drill. Please tell me we'll be allowed to put it into players heads
=NX=VinGummi2, I'm pretty sure they'll always charge eachother up. In Red Alert 2, that was just a problem with the game.
