This week we have some new GDI additions to show you!

First I'd like to thank all those who applyed to help us at Tiberian Sun Rising, be on the look out for job openings in the future! :) We are still accepting applications so if you think you've got the skills to be a Concept ARtist or Texture Artist for us email me

The GDI Peacekeeper's are GDI's Rifle Soldiers out in the field trained to fight in many forms of combat GDI's Peacekeepers are some of the best trained soldiers in the world.

The GDI Juggernaut, GDI's Mobile Artillery platform equipped with a Triple-Barrled 120mm Cannon the Juggernaut lives up to its name in size and firepower!

GDI also demonstrated its new Component Tower defense system, once a Vulcan Cannon, Sam Site or RPG is constructed it can be upgraded into any other Turret type for a price and buildtime. For GDI Commander's who scout ahead this offers an adaptable defensive system. Saving space and potentially saving on amount of defense structures.

Tune in again soon for more battlefield coverage :)

in a word...SEX!

love the idea of the "adaptive defense" for Component Towers to give GDI commanders more flexibility on defense

just hope we animate it correctly

but why call GDI's infantry "Peacekeepers?" they were originally known as Light Infantry. I can't help but feel like "Peacekeeper" acts more as a standin to prevent conflict rather than a dedicated soldier. what makes the Peacekeeper different from a Light Infantryman?

oh, where's the third leg on the Juggernaut? the leg which must deploy to stabilize the weapon? can we make that happen? same for the Nod Artillery too

btw, I'm White Wolf. I contribute to the Reborn and Tiberian Essence mods, and I participate in the Reborn Wikipedia as the lead moderator and contributor.

I'd like to help out the Rising Team in any way possible. if you need a tester, writer, and bug hunter, then I'm your man!

it might be a good idea to get with the Tiberian Essence and Tiberian Apocalypse teams since it looks like theyve come up with some interesting ideas. we could do a collaborative exchange of coding if we each run into problems, make all of our mods even better

Oh look who finally registered. :P

And I think I see the 3rd leg back there, it's just not deployed.

now that i think of it, there are some things i want to see in Rising, if they havent been considered already

Love the Adaptive Defense idea for the Component Towers

but I'd like to see Forgotten, of course, Tiberium that can grow enough to overrun a map, gates, and a visible counter in the armor bar of Tiberium Refineries and Silos that track how much Tiberium is contained within

oh yeah, and Mobile Sensor Arrays!

Tiberian Essence is a great start, but let's take this further

are we considering strict Tiberian Sun? because I might like to see the Hover MLRS with a hull-mounted .50 caliber. Tiberian Apocalypse mod had that

oh good! so were thinking...2031, just after CABAL? nice.

right, I'd like to be able to repair civilian buildings, and actually have them given a name, rather than just "garrisonable structure"

maybe increase missiles bursts on hover mlrs from just 2 missiles, and make sure they can hover over waterways

and god, do i need an MSA...

RPG Towers for GDI should fire 2 quick shots when engaging enemy targets, as they have 2 barrels. This was shown in the cutscene of GDI defenses at Hammerfest engaging 2 Stealth Tanks

if we choose to include Predators, give them a coax 3-barrelled Minigun, like Essence did (if not, disregard)

make sure subterranean vehicles don't "float" on maps. my buddies and i are seeing this with essence sub vehicles on some maps. it may be because of the particular map we're playing on
