This video features the GDI OH58D-Kiowa, damageable gates and
base walls plus a quick assult on the tiberium silo.
Then a short fly across the mountain to the main Nod base where the
tiberium refinery and airstrip are located......note that the base defenses
don't work so well when I am capturing video for preview movies.
The base defenses are quite formidable and have a long range.
The GDI Kiowa is designed to carry up to 4 players......it is a
gunship/evacuation vehicle.....it can provide ground support fire
and evacuate wounded troops back to base to be healed quickly
as well as directly assult an enemy base.

do you think the method you used to make the gates damageable will work on doors in buildings, as it is something I have been trying to do for a while. If so would you mind telling me how you did it?

The Kiowa seems to be able to kill those silos pretty quick, did you set their health quite low or does the Kiowa have very powerful weapons? Also I noticed that the tips of the blades are red, should they not be yellow for GDI, as at the moment it looks very much like a Nod vehicle.

Anyway, the maps seems to be coming on well, I look forward to trying it out :thumb:

yeah.....you should be able to use the same method for building doors.....but you will have to change the name of the proxy bones for all of the doors and make a script zone in each doorway to enable the open/close animation.

I used the script "JFW_Gate_Zone_2" and attached it to a generic script zone box and filled in the parameters....the best part is that the doors will be locked for enemy team members unless they destroy the door.

I'll see if I can get you a working example in the mod template before I release it so that you can see how to do it if you have problembs figuring it out.

The tiberium silos are vulnerable and have always been easy to kill...even in TD/TS.

I am going to leave the kiowa the wasy it is for beta2....eventually it will get reskinned.
