lol no.... the only thing the game has is OK graphics..

-gameplay sucks
-interface sucks
-storyline really sucks
-game was also rushed to the street half finished
-game was very unbalanced.. its pretty balanced now tho

only reason I've got it installed is mods :P

True, but the one thing that would have made it better is different gameplay style. No offense to C&C, but that old gameplay system on a new game isn't good at all. This proves EA's inability to reinvent. They'll continue pumping out crappy sequels with similiar gameplay and better graphics which makes it like a remix. Eventually they be left in the dust by more revulotionized games and daring companies. My kid will be seeing EA's new titles in the bargain bin and my grandchild won't know what EA is. If they don' t make greay, revolutionary, and whole games when the next-gen consoles hit shelves they slowly die off. If they don't want to put effort into games they should retire now and save their money. :cuss:

Well I mainly meant the way you give units commands and such. Im sure if westwood was still around they would have perfected it. EA didn't change it much from TS.

no they didn't.... and westwood has.. it looks like they have in the new game Empire at war.. 80 % of the Petroglyph team is ppl who used to work at westwood :P they have made the "AI" so stupid that when u issue a bunch of tanks an order .. they move on a line.. have you seen Act Of War ?... a new game where if a unit is infront of the tank and the tank needs to go to a place then it drives around .. (n I no it may happen in rare cases in generals.. but mainy .. that thing is really bad made)

I agree, generals focuses on looking decent and not working good. I wouldn't mind play RA2 graphics again if it plays good.

I wanted to compare generals and act of war, but my card doesn't support Act of War (Geforce MX 4). :*(
