yeah, having a hard time trying to find rules.ini for the original TD, so help.

Since i just found out that there is no Rules.ini for TD, how do i edit the game?

.exe hacking? I think Nyerguds is the only person who has ever extensively modded TD.

i found this Editor for C&C95

remember to backup C&C95.exe

however it look like, it don't work with TFD <- Not sure about this as i don't have TFD so i can't test it


there is allso a other Editor found here http://www.cncforums...ks.php?catid=69
it's the first one named C&C95 Rules Editor (UGE)

C&CGEdit is pretty bad... UGE is way better. I should know, I made it :P

However, Everything you can find in that version of UGE has been implemented in the newest version of TibEd, which gives it a nice graphical interface.
There is a beta of my newer version of UGE (v3.0) which can edit weapons, music and some other stuff, but some of its sections are incomplete, and I haven't written up the documentation for that one yet.

For the DOS version, the best tool available is CCEDT, though many of its data structures are unidentified, and to use it on version 1.22 you need to rename game.new to game.dat for the editor to see it.
