Golan gave me this link today:

There are some very nice concept arts from CnC 3 and the Tiberium FPS.

And some may remember this picture....

Everytime that I see how beautiful (in a twisted not-at-all-beautiful way) the setting of TIBERIUM was supposed to be, something inside of me dies. :(

Guess itd be nice if instead of the regular remake mods, wed see some TIBERIUM based mods in the future.

I would agree with Golan. The world and some of the art direction look amazing. However, I am actually glad Tiberium didn't come into fruition especially with some of the lackadaisical gameplay elements that would have tanked the whole thing.

I still don't quite get why there is hostility toward the gameplay of Tiberium. From what I saw and read, it was looking to be an immersive, interesting experience. So what if it's not a run-and-gun shooter like Renegade? It had a good concept, in my opinion, and good ideas are becoming rarer and rarer in today's gaming market.

For those that want to save the Images.

P.S. Tiberium, wouldn't have been anywhere near the Concept Art at all. They couldn't get a FPS to adapt well with the Fly engine (I'll call it this) at all. So either Tiberium would have been nothing but a ground game or the Ariel Units would have been cheesy NPCs that fly in, attack, and away. No control over them, or boarding landed aircraft. Since they didn't want to do that they were left with a couple options 1.) Troubleshoot for months possibly years or 2.) Cancel the idea all together. For once I was glad EA did the right thing, never late than never right? 9_9 XD

The Unreal Engine seriously can't handle these sorts of physics? That seems rather... how should I put it? Unbelievable. Could you perhaps clarify what you mean? I still don't get why people view the game as "doomed from the start."

I found the gameplay unappealing.

Why, though? :P I've heard that many times, but no one ever explains the problems they have with it.
