I really want the campains from TS & TS:FS to be included in this mod. Maybe not in the first version but later on. It would be awesome to play the campaigns in the sage engine and it would work out very well with the campaign layout from C&C3. The mod would get much more dept if it included the original campaigns. Or some campaigns, I would gladly play a new campaign created by you! :D

I have herd that C&C3 Kane's Wrath will include a world domination mode. That must be made available later on when Kane's Wrath is released.

Are the TS FMV:s protected by copyright law? Is it legal for you to use them?

When you finish the TS GDI campaign you unlock the FS GDI campaign. The same for Nod.

EA owns all Command & Conquer rights so they don't mind in the slightest if mods use material (such as FMVs) from one C&C game in another C&C game or EA product.

I personally don't need campaigns. I wouldn't mind having them in (and I'd gladly play them), but in my opinion it takes up too much time and resources to do them. Being able to play skirmish and multiplayer and have a refined and polished mod is more important IMHO.

i would be happy to make a campaign for this mod creating the original enhanced with all the cool camera effects you could do in generals. however i wouldnt want to delay the mods release as making a campaign does take along time.

and if the dev team dont mind i wouldnt mind makin a map that i tried making for a ts campaign. however i never finished it as ts mappin is a bit lacking compared to C&C3 mapping. it is a map were u were gdi against nod and the forgotten. i got the idea from an unofficial dawn map i used to play the whole time called 3x more fun bak 10 years ago.

To be honest the campaign, while on our road map, is not anywhere near the top of the list. Once we have a workable multiplayer mod we will then start to think about a campaign. The way the timeline is likly to go is, Multiplayer mod -> Multiplayer + Skirmish -> Multiplayer + Skirmish + Test mission -> then the full capaign. Considering as we speak we don't even have a multiplayer alpha ready for CnC3 the campaign is probaly a long time away. However we do have plans that could be, entertaining to say the least.

Oh and proof EA dont mind on the FMV's

I remember i was talking with Greg Black about Tiberian Sun Rising when I was at EA Studios and he asked about campaigns and I said yes eventually and he then said.. you should use the original FMV's if you are. I was like... wow wasnt expecting him to endorse that action :D lol. So yeah its fine.

And as Bob said using EA own material in other EA engines has no legal issues. Which I suppose is a big bonus for people doing Command & Conquer mods for games like Battlefield or any other of EA's engines that are useful for modding.

Why to have the same campaigns? Since we've played them that many times... Something innovative - buncha new missions on new maps with a new story...

I would love to see a campaign of some sort. However, it's not a priority in my mind. Also if I want to play the TS and FS missions, I'll open up the original game.
