Every war has a weapon which revolutionizes the way humanity engages in warfare. In World War I, this weapon was the tank. World War II saw the emergence of nuclear weapons. The Vietnam War depended on the helicopter. In the world of Tiberian Dawn, the revolution comes in the form of the MCV—and the repercussions of its entrance will be felt for decades. Of course, the MCV doesn’t remain on the battlefield for long, because it exists for a single puporse…



To be deployed into a Construction Yard. The Conyard, as it is colloquially known, is the heart of an all-new military system. Joining the facilities of industrial maintenance equipment and civil engineering machinery, and combined with the fabrication power of the Tiberium refinery, this relatively simple structure is capable of conjuring an entire military base in a matter of hours.



Every Construction Yard is compatible with EVA software, allowing military officers to streamline the process of base-building. Similarly, when a structure is in need of repairs, resources may be automatically rerouted to reconstruction drones within the buildings themselves. Many commanders apparently enjoy the prospect of building and maintaining their bases, with some even admitting a sense of heartbreak when it comes time to move the lines forward.

The Conyard was modeled by Ric and textured by Soviet Deso. I know that I and many others will be quite happy with it in our bases.
