If you are a fan of command and conquer and have some free time to help with a project then you are in luck!

The Renegade 2007 mod(bringing C&C to the unreal2007 engine) has two slots left in the coding department.

The team is looking for people with C++ and or Java experience to help develop the game code for the next generation of a completely free completely moddable C&C based Game.

This is your chance to shine and contribute something to the C&C community that will have everyone remembering your name.

The game modes being worked on for UT2007 are:
Renegade mode:similar to EA's Renegade online action but with better detail models and animations(all original artwork).
C&C mode:Based on the original C&C gamepay but with both First person action and the ability to be the commander(like the old C&C)
C&C CTF:similar to unreal CTF but with a C&C theme and no translocators.

More modes can be done but these are the three that are being worked on first.

All of these game mode mods are being made for the C&C community and are completely end user moddable(open source).

The goal of the Renegade2007 is to bring the C&C community to a next generation game engine that is already setting the standards for tomorrows games.
And to bring all of those who are interested in the gaming industry a peek into how it's done without the limitations as to what you can do.

If you can imagine it...and you can write the script.....it can be done!

If you are interested in joining the team as a programmer/coder please post a reply below.

Thanks :D

It is very difficult to modify a game that doesn't exist yet in stores.

they are using the same script language as before.

we are developing the beta code in the UT2004 engine and will be porting it over to the UT2K7 engine with minimal rework.

This Sounds great :)

I'm looking forward to play it! Do you have new models or any maps for this to make screenshots?

Plenty of things are done, but we're not ready to show anything off yet.
