[Mighty BOB!]

A little while ago there was a brief announcement for a new mod for the Unreal 3 Engine. I'd like to let you guys know that this mod has gotten underway. The mod's intended to remake Renegade's multiplayer mode on this new-generation engine. In other words, remaking Ren on a new engine.

We've basically been working since March-ish 2006, and since then we've developed a team. All of our members come from the C&C community, some of which are also working on mods like Reborn and Apoc Rising.

We wanted to keep the mod under covers for 2006 because we didn't want to announce without having some work to show off. But now, we're pretty much ready to reveal ourselves.

Renegade 2007's dev team is still open for character modelers, unwrappers, a coder, and texture artists. We've made our forums available so stop by our site at http://www.renegade2007.com

The site design is just a temporary one until we can get the official one up. What matters though is that we're making our Mod Forums available to the public now. Without registering you could basically see the finished work (about 3 or 4 threads). But if you're interested in seeing more, you could register and check out something like 19 WIPs we have in our WIP section.

Anyways just wanted to keep you guys informed.
