Today I went to check the local market if they will be stocking Nintendo's Wii on launch day, this Friday. I'm going to camp there early in the morning to ensure that I will be getting one.
I already have stockpiled on GameCube games, mainly titles I missed during the Cube's existence:
Wave Race,Burnout 2,F-Zero GX,Starfox Adventures,Smuggler's Run Warzones,Kirby Air Ride,Day of Reckoning 2,Hot Pursuit 2,Metroid Prime 2

Expect me to post pictures of the Wii-trip later on Friday.

What games you getting for your Wii? Your obviously getting zelda (If you dont you may find yourself dead within the next few hours), Ive heard mixed reviews on Red Steel though. I wont be getting my Wii just yet, because I moved to my uni apartment I aint fully setup, still need to get my TV and stuff, so no point getting a Wii until I can use it, otherwise I will be crying >_>

1st priority: Zelda
2nd: DBZ Tenkaichi 2
3rd: Rayman Raving Rabbids

If you don't have a TV, you can still use the computer monitor via the magic of a VGA box. I'd like give you a link, but seems I bought the last one. It's highly recommended to use at least S-video cable or component to connect the Wii to the transcoder.
It's much nicer to play with a 21' CRT monitor than with standard definition 20' widescreen television. Widescreen doesn't give any benefits since the resolution isn't increased.

Hear the words: "Flicking the wrist and a grip glove". No need to make those crazy exaggerated movements shown in the commercials.

Still two days to go..

Today is Finland's independence day, it's a bit of of "empty day" for me since nothing is happening here apart from the usual parades. Tomorrow I'll begin preparations for the Wii launch.
