Well thats an issue of system resources; if a battle is really long and there are hundreds of bodies on the scene then some need to be removed.

Additionally I think that 3 weapons are plenty. A pistol, a medium to large firearm (basically anything from an smg to a rocket launcher), and special ordinance like grenades/democharges. Like Assassin said 2-3 guns max. Though I'm sure this is something that would need playtesting to really pin down.

Looting? This isn't Thief :P

The amount of weapons you can carry depends on your infantry class.

it would be nice to get a little reward for killing someone, espescially if your barracks was destroyed. I think you should be able to pick up items that were in peoples inventory including beacons. that would be cool.

if there are no beacons, will the commander have control of the superweapon? will he only be able to see where there are soldiers revealing the shroud. that would make sense that you need to have a spy in the enemy base to be able to see what to destroy.

Anyone played chrome? Its inventory has slots like Deus Ex. Each guy u kill has inventory looking the same. when u "activate"/"use" the corps u see 2 windows, one at each side. You can transfer objects from one to the other.

In games, u normaly see bodies lying one the ground for a minute then they disapear. So bearing this in mind, there wouldn't ever be millions of bodies on the ground. (so it wouldn't rearly effect servers)

Inventory slots make games more realistic and looting corpses adds to the realisticness of the game. And it shouldn't be a hard thing to do.

Could be enabled/disabled at the server admins discression (u should see what its like).

Renegade style kill an enemy an dhe drops his main weapon is very unrealistic. Most soldiers would have a backup gun, maybe some grenades, and medpacks. so looting corpses is the only realistic way to have a realisic mod.

Yeh, that was a good feature in Chrome.

But in a Deathmatch mode ppl don't have time to loot corpses like that. Single Player well yeh.

A good way would to have a option. RPG Style Inventorys (as they pretty much were).

And the other mode when he dies he drops everything sorta like Halo u drop all your guns your grenades and u can pickup what u like from that.

You can target anywhere with the superweapons regardless of if you can can see it.

Well, I haven't played any RPGs besides the Mario RPGs, so I can't really comment on that aspect.

One thing I can assure is that any left over weapons from enemies won't spawn from nowhere while the enemy holding the weapon drops dead and fades away.

But as per CnC, killing Grenadiers or Rocket Soldiers with certain weapons make them explode... BOOM SPLATT.
