Hello C&C Sourcers!

The moddb top 100 hundred has been announced and Red Alert 2: Apocalypse Rising is one of the lucky independant games on the Renegade w3d engine that made it there! We thank all who voted and got us to where we are, but the awards aren't over yet. Oh no, Phase two of voting has now been initiated. So please vote for us so that we can prove that there is still life in C&C Renegade yet.

You can check out the moddb profile for Apocalypse Rising here:
http://www.moddb.com/games/6670/red-alert-...ocalypse-rising

The top 100 released and unreleased projects are listed here. You can vote from here:
http://www.moddb.com/events/2007-mod-of-th...r-awards/top100

You can find Apocalypse Rising under Best Upcoming Mods & Indie Games of 2007, just press the '+' icon next to the Indie Games category and then the 'click to vote' button.

You can also find our sister project, the established Red Alert: A Path Beyond in the released indie games section of the top 100. They could also use every vote they can get so check them out as well if you have the time.

You do not need to register, you can vote as a guest. We hope you will spend a little time to vote for us and to support the C&C community as a whole.

Thankyou.

It is pretty cool that both TD & TS:R from our network made the top 100, and our ehm, departed son who went off to college (AR) and his friend (APB) also made the 100.

Congrats for you, guys. But, honestly, I wouldn't like this kind of news in my network if it had mods that were competing with these indie games. CnC Source should post a news about asking votes for Tiberian Sun Rising and Tiberian Dawn in ModDB, that, here, is a way more important than a Path Beyond and Apocalypse Rising.

Well I guess me being leader of Apocalypse Rising and having access to post news here is a bad combination then.

I view this as ok because we aren't in competition with either TSR or TD because indie games have separate awards to mods.

That and TSR/TD are RTS mods instead of FPS 'mods'.
