Anyhow, as much as it pains me to say it, for the first time in... forever, I find myself not caring about the launch of a new C&C. I really didn't think it was possible, but nothing I've seen of C&C4 has me feeling excited or even remotely interested.

This mod on the other hand, represents everything that is great about Command & Conquer. So yes, it has my vote.

But enough ranting. Thanks to EA for killing my favourite franchise. Thanks to Westwood for the epic goodness that is C&C. And thanks to the Tiberian Dawn team for bringing it back to life!

Now you just need to finish. Please.

I do want to give APOC and the CNC community credit, however.

They have been very supportive of our project as well as that of our colleagues.

It may have a different perspective than where the series began, but i am sure C&C4 will effectively bring the series to a close. I for one will still give it a try.
And so may some of you out there soon...

Agreed, I would be more than willing to give C&C4 a try, but sadly I'm not overjoyed with what I've seen so far.

I will try it, don't know when, but I will do it. The fact that you have to maintain an internet connection during game smell so fishy that, probably, someone will create a sort of patch or local server in order to restore the LAN-multiplay functionality. Caging in this way a game, has already happened to be unsuccessful.

What I care know is one thing: About Tiberian Dawn. What is still missing? What will be included in the first release? Any other news?
