Updated for Patch 1.09 and Kane's Wrath!
This is Xenkan's Windows 2000 compatibility patch for the FULL retail version of Tiberium Wars. Not the demo. It has also been updated to work with Kane's Wrath.
This unofficial patch fixes the following Windows 2000 incompatibilities in
Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars and Command & Conquer 3 Kane's Wrath:
* The procedure entry point GetVolumePathNamesForVolumeNameW could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll
* The dynamic link library gdiplus.dll could not be found in the specified path
* ***FATAL*** String Manager failed to initialized properly
* The procedure entry point GetModuleHandleExA could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll
1. Install Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars from Game Disc (if you haven't already)
When you insert the DVD, you'll get an error "You need Windows XP..." Just run the setup.exe directly.
2. Install Command & Conquer 3 Kane's Wrath from Game Disc (if you have it)
3. Install Xenkan patch
4. Restart your computer
5. Play Command & Conquer 3!

I changed how this patch is programmed so that it searches for the incompatibilities, and patches them wherever they appear in the .exe This means that, unless EA makes drastic changes, this patch should work with all past, present, and future versions of CNC3.
