This concept of the Ion Cannon Uplink I remember being in the magazines, I'm sure we saw a model of it early on as well.. This sorta reminds me of USA's Particle Cannon Uplink from Generals a little bit thou is still quite different. I'm not sure how I feel about this design but I am kinda glad it wasnt the final actually.
