Picture Description
Light Infantry
The Basic army type. As the name suggests the weaponary and armor is light. The Light Infantry carries a M16 Mk. II which delivers light damage to most targets. If used in groups the light infantry are a hard target to destroy without loss.
Cyborg Infantry
As a result of Nod experiments with combining tiberium mutated humans with machines the Cyborg race was formed. They have heavy body armor and a high-power pulse rifle.
Rocket Infantry
The rocket infantry carry a shoulder mounted rocket launcher making them slightly slower than the rest of the field. The rocket launcher is very effect agaisnt infantry, vehciles and structures. They can also attack aircrafts in flight.
Engineer
Capture and Repair are the two main functions of the engineer. He can go inside enemy building and capture them for you. Now in Tiberian Sun he can repair bridges be entering bridge huts and also repair your own damaged structures.
Cyborg Commando
The Cyborgs who perform well are further enhanced and promoted to the Cyborg Commando ranks. Armed with a green plasma cannon he can take out a whole base by himself.
Mutant Hijacker
The mutant hijacker can steal and commandeer enemy vehciles by hopping inside them. He cannot be removed from the vehcile until it is blown up and that is if he survives. Like all other mutants he can heal himself in a tiberium patch.
Subterranean APC
The subterranean APC is capable of carrying up to five infantry units underground to a target. When underground it is invisible to the enemy but can be detected by a GDI mobile sensor array. It cannot surface on certain terrain types such as rough terrain or water, etc.
Attack Cycle
Mainly used as a scout unit, the attack cycle can sustain moderate damage to enemies before getting destroyed itself. It uses a twin rocket launcher capable of hitting ground and air units.
Hunter Seeker Droid
This lightning fast drone is designed to clean up the battlefield. The Hunter Seeker Droid once released randomly searches out a unit and attached itself to it. Once it is attached to the unit it self destructs destroying the unit it is attached to.
Weed Eater
The weed eater is essentially like a lawn mower, it used to harvest the weed to make the chemical missile. It like like a harvester but instead of harvesting tiberium it harvests tiberium viens and dumps the load in the Tiberium Waste Facility.
Tick Tank
The Tick Tank can switch between two modes when mobile it is a light battle tank that can inflict a small amount of damage but in groups can be deadly. When deployed they effectivly become a temporary gun tower and yes it can be undeployed back into its tank form.
Stealth Tank
The best tank to make a covert assualt or just to scout around the stealth tank is equipped with dragon missles that can inflict quite a bit of damage it is also equiped with a unique device a small stealth generator which cloaks this tank making it invisible to enemys. It can however be detected by infantry and base defences so you might want to avoid them and it can also unfortunately be detected by enemy Sensor Arrays.
Artillery
Nod needed a weapon that could pack alot of damage to GDI bases from a long range so they developed a more advanced long-range artillery weapon which is much more powerful then the previous model from the first Tiberium War. Because of the amount of pressure put on the unit by firing over such a distance the artillery cannon must deploy itself before being able to fire. Once deployed it is unable to move so guard them well if any enemy retaliation comes.
Harpy
The Harpy Attack Chopper is tremendously effective against enemy infantry and lightly armoured targets. The Harpy is armed with a gatling gun that can surpress alot of damage to lightly armoured targets. Like all choppers the Harpy must return to its helepad to reload.
Mobile Repair Vechile
This unmaned robotic vechile is able to repair any vechile with no cost to you if in guard mode it will automatically run around repairing your damaged units in its vicinity. The arm attached to it is equiped with everything it needs to repair your vechiles.
Harvester
The Harvester is probably the most critical unit to the survival of your base this slow heavily armoured vechile is the source of your credits without this you won't be reciving any money. Harvesters will automatically seek out Tiberium and mine it then bring its load back to your Refinery.
Banshee
This craft developed using Alien Technology found in the Scrin Wreckage which Nod found this baby is part of Kanes Elite Guard. It is armed with a new Proton weapon which fires in bursts and it groups these fast sleek aircrafts can do alot of damage.
