Picture Description
Light Infantry
The Basic army type. As the name suggests the weaponary and armor is light. The Light Infantry carries a M16 Mk. II which delivers light damage to most targets. If used in groups the light infantry are a hard target to destroy without loss.
Disc Thrower
With alot of training the GDI Disc Thrower is capable of throwing a disc grenade that can do alot of damage much the same as a normal grenade but designed to go further and faster. If the Disc does not hit a target it will skim along the ground for a while.
Jumpjet Infantry
The Jumpjet Infantry units where trained so Infantry could go where it was inassieble normally to Infantry. Armed with a Vulcan cannon these can be quite useful and deadly while slow. There easy to stop with AA defence but if you don't have any then your in trouble. They can also work as AA soldiers by shooting there vulcan cannons at incoming aircraft they can also be used to attack air to ground which is there primary attack.
Engineer
Capture and Repair are the two main functions of the engineer. He can go inside enemy building and capture them for you. Now in Tiberian Sun he can repair bridges be entering bridge huts and also repair your own damaged structures.
Medic
The Medic while unarmed is used to heal your injured infantry units and get them back to fighting shape again fast. The Medic can be told to heal certain infantry units or he will just do it automatically Medics can heal each other and Medics will also heal themselves slowly.
Ghostalker
The Ghostalker is part of the Forgotten and a mutant like them all he carries a small hand held Rail Gun which can destroy lightly armoured and heavly armoured units and structures with ease. Which due to the radiatation caused by the weapon only mutants can handle it. Also armed with C4 to place on structures to destroy it makes the Ghostalker a powerful infantry unit. Like all other mutants he can heal himself in a tiberium patch.
Wolverine
The Powered Assualt Armor named the Wolverine is a small mech unit. That is piloted by a single infantry unit this suit brings his speed up alot as well as his fire power because its able to lift heavier guns then a normal infantry unit. The suit also protects the infantry from the effects of Tiberium great to use in light skirmishs or to mow down infantry with.
Titan
The Medium Battle Mechanized Walker named the Titan is the next step in walker technology. Its GDI's all purpose assult or defense unit. Armed with a 120mm cannon in groups they can pack a devastating punch and just out of range of Nod Lasers as well so they are no problem to take out. While slower then the Wolerine the Titan has more armour and more firepower to make up for its lack in speed.
Hunter Seeker Droid
This lightning fast drone is designed to clean up the battlefield. The Hunter Seeker Droid once released randomly searches out a unit and attached itself to it. Once it is attached to the unit it self destructs destroying the unit it is attached to.
Amphibious APC
The Amphibous APC is much more useful then the normal APC strong and able to carry 5 infantry units and it is pretty fast. It is capable of traveling over land or ferrying over sea its all-terrain features make it a valuble unit to GDI's forces.
Hover MLRS
The Hover Multi-Launch Rocket System (Hover MLRS) is a fast light unit with a hover system installed. It can cross both land and sea even viens without being damaged. Its rockets do a devastating punch to aircraft and ground targets.
Disrupter
Developments on the GDI Command Centre the Philadelphia have led to a breakthough in harmonic resonance. When tuned up on the right frequency and on the right materials a harmonic resonance wave is formed. The Disrupter takes advantage of this technology. The weapon will hurt anything caught in wave even your own units so be careful when placing these to attack. Disrupter tanks can shatter through even the strongest targets with ease.
Mammoth Mk. II
The prototype for the new generation of Mammoth Tanks is here the Mammoth Mk. II armed with much heavier weapons then the first model during the Tiberium War the while a bit slow the Mark II can cause havoc in a Nod base. It is armed with a large Rail Gun that can turn enemy forces into slag in seconds and also armed with AA missles to take care of any aircraft trying to destroy the Mark II beware these AA missles arn't very effective. It is very heavly amoured making it almost indestructible on the battlefield that is one of many reasons why its speed is so slow.
Mobile Sensor Array
The Mobile Sensor Array (MSA) is a vehicle equipped with the most advanced sensor package that is state-of-the-art it has a pretty long range. It can detected cloaked or burrowing units a cloaked unit will not uncloak but it will show the location of the cloacked units on radar.
Orca Fighter
The Orca Fighter still being used from the first Tiberium War with just a few improvements to do with its speed. Its dual missle launchers put only a small dent in enemy forces it is very fast but lightly armoured. This aircraft is almost obesolete and is practicaly useless.
Harvester
The Harvester is probably the most critical unit to the survival of your base this slow heavily armoured vechile is the source of your credits without this you won't be reciving any money. Harvesters will automatically seek out Tiberium and mine it then bring its load back to your Refinery.
Orca Bomber
The much heavier and better armed then its fighter cousin the Orca Bomber trades its speed for its firepower and boy is it worth it. A group of these babys can devastate a base is seconds leaving only burning debris. 10 or 20 of these can easily win a battle for you even if they do have sam sites.
