Picture Description
The Construction Yard is the heart of all bases it gives you the abilty to build all structures without it you can't build any structures unless you still have the ability to build a MCV in which case you can deploy that into a new Construction Yard. Guard the Construction Yard heavily. The buildpic for this structure was created by CnC Source to fill in the spot it is unoffical and not used in RA2.
The Tesla Reactor is yet again another development of Tesla Technology it must be built to supply power to the base without power the base will build everything slowly and all powered defenses will go offline. So guard the power plants well because they are weak and very important.
The Ore Refinery is where your war miners drive back to when they have a full load. The Ore Refinery has to be built to recieve credits. You will often want to build multiple Refinerys and Miners to recieve more credits quicker.
The Soviet Barracks allows you to train all your infantry units build more barracks to make infantry training faster. The barracks is needed to build your basic defences and some advanced structures.
The War Factory is where all ground units are created and even some air units are created here as well this building is the only way to gain the ability to build vechiles. Build more War Factorys for faster unit production.
The Soviet Naval Yard can play quite a role in both protecting your base and sending attacks off to the enemy. Ship Yards produce Vessals from the basic Typhoon Attack Sub to the Giant Squid. Damaged vessals can return the the Naval Yard to be repaired.
Need Radar? Your damn right you will, The Soviet Radar will provide you with Radar to track your own unit movements and the enemys.
Need a repair comrade? In this War alot of your units will get damaged this is where the Service Depot comes in the Service Depot will repair any vehicle for a cost this cost ranges depending on how damaged the unit is.
The Soviet Battle Lab must to built to allow for advanced defences and Soviet Super Weapons like the Iron Curtain and the Nuclear Missle Silo, they can only be built if you have a Battle Lab.
Sick of all those Tesla Reactors taking up your space? The Nuclear Reactor will provide you with all the power you will ever need. But beware you must guard this heavly because if it blows up it will result in a nuclear explosion desimating your base. If the enemy sees one of these it will be there main target if an allied weather storm occurs its a good idea to use the iron curtain on this structure during the storm.
The Cloning Vats are a unique piece of Soviet Technology, Any unit produced at the barracks will get a identical clone free from the cloning vat as well. If you need some cash Infantry units can be fed into the Cloning Vats for cash a good tactic is to use Yuri to take control of enemy infantry and then feed them to the Vat.
The Soviet Fortress Wall is the same as the Allied version apart from its looks. It is designed to slow down enemy vechiles and infantry while the base defenses destroy the threat. Multiple wall sections can be built in one go for quick building.
The Sentry Gun is an automatic base defence that is designed to mow down infantry once it has aquired a target. They can't shoot over walls but in groups they can be quite useful.
The Tesla Coil is the most advanced base defence the Soviet War Machine has. They are very effective and can also be charged up by Tesla Troopers to pack an even larger punch and allow for more range and can also remain charged even if there is low power but this is only if Troopers are charging it. The Tesla Coil shoots very powerful electric bolts at its enemys being effective against everything apart from aircraft.
The Soviet Flak Cannon is just a basic AA defence and is effective in taking out all Allied aircraft including those pesky Rocketeers.
Using the Physic Technology developed by Yuri the Physic Sensor was developed it can be used to see what the enemys plans are to attack what parts of your base. It will show the enemys target lines within the Sensors radius only.
The Nuclear Missle Silo is the Ultimate Weapon and is very expensive but pays for itself in the amount of damage it does to the enemys base. It can decimate a base in seconds frying infantry instantly and crippling the whole area in the bombs radius. The Nukes produced at the Silo are the most effective weapons the Soviets have. When a Nuclear Missle Silo is built all players will recive notification of it being built they will also be able to see it and how long it has left to charge.
The Iron Curtain can charge up a charge that will make any unit or structure in a small radius invunerable for a short period of time if used on infantry it will fry them instantly due to the heat produced by the charge. So keep this thing aimed away from your infantry. When a Iron Curtain is built all players will recive notification of it being built they will also be able to see it and how long it has left to charge.
